LibroFEST was yearly book and arts festival hosted at the Houston Public Library at the start of Hispanic Heritage Month from the years 2012 through 2018, highlighting Hispanic writers and culture.

This collection features a series of digital recorded interviews with attendees of the September 30, 2017, LibroFEST, with interview questions focused on the year’s theme of food history. The 2017 LibroFEST also took place several weeks after Hurricane Harvey, which occurred at the end of August.
