In 2019 the Houston History Research Center formed the ¡Musica! Oral History Project in conjunction with Dr. Jesus Esparza, and Dr. Guadalupe San Miguel Jr. The project was an effort to document Houston’s Latino Music History as a supplement to the archival materials and loaned artifacts featured in the HHRC exhibit ¡Musica! A history of Hispanic Sounds Houston.
